Betsy also strives to protect and expand the creative industries by having been a member of the National Youth Arts Advisory Group from 2017-2024 this was created under the Scottish Government and Creative Scotland’s Time to Shine strategy to give 14-24‑year‑olds a youth‑led advisory role, shaping funding, policy and programmes and helping design and oversee youth‑led initiatives like the Nurturing Talent fund.
Betsy is also a board member of Scottish Youth Theatre. Betsy has also gained an MA in Arts, Festivals and Cultural Management and during this time expanded her interest more in producing and DJing. As well as Raw Acts she is also a producer for the writing festival Gateway and an assistant producer for the Inverness Fringe.
